BrightBud Data Deletion

This page explains how users can request deletion of their BrightBud account and associated data.

Account Deletion

Parents may delete their BrightBud account and all associated child data at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When an account deletion request is completed, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

• Parent account information (email address and profile data)
• Child profile information (first name, grade level, and state)
• Learning progress data, scores, and activity history

Data Retention Exceptions

Some limited information may be retained temporarily if required for:

• Legal compliance
• Security and fraud prevention
• Anonymous aggregated analytics

Anonymous analytics data does not contain personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

BrightBud uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) – authentication and database storage
• RevenueCat – subscription management
• Apple App Store / Google Play – payment processing

Deletion requests will remove data stored by BrightBud. Some data handled by third-party services may be governed by their respective privacy policies.
